VermiVital project was launched in 2013 as a spin-off from AGROSPOL Želovce’s operations. The project focused on developing and producing unique organic and organo-mineral fertilizers, resulting from a combination of practical experience and a research-driven approach.
The primary goal was to introduce high-quality natural solutions to Slovak agriculture, aimed at supporting soil fertility and plant health. Within three years, the project secured a stable position in the market and laid the foundation for the company’s further development.
In 2016, we successfully concluded our involvement in the project by selling our stake to the company’s co-owners.

We entered an underperforming agricultural cooperative in one of Slovakia’s economically weaker regions, with the goal of bringing in new vision and energy. We restructured operations, launched research and development, and initiated a project focused on the use of earthworm enzymes. We assembled a professional team and launched innovative activities in Záhorce, located near Veľký Krtíš.
After thorough analysis, we determined that the original idea of processing earthworms was economically unviable. However, we identified significantly greater potential in producing vermicompost – a natural fertilizer and soil revitalizer – which became the core of our primary business activity.
The project expanded, strengthened its position in the market, and in 2016 we successfully concluded our involvement by selling it to the company’s co-owners.
