Crop and Livestock Production

Agropodnik Želovce was founded in 2010 following the separation of agricultural activities from Agrospol Želovce. It focused on crop and livestock production in a region with a strong agrarian tradition. The project was efficiently structured and successfully exited in 2013 through a sale to a strategic investor in the biogas plant sector.

Agropodnik Želovce project was launched in 2010 as a natural step in the restructuring of AGROSPOL Želovce, which involved spinning off its agricultural operations into a standalone entity.

The newly formed Agropodnik focused on comprehensive agricultural operations, placing strong emphasis on both crop and livestock production—sectors with deep roots and a long-standing tradition in the region.

Thanks to the careful setup of operational processes, equipment modernization, and a strong focus on efficient management, the team succeeded in stabilizing operations and proving the project’s economic viability in a relatively short time. The result was a farming model that was not only sustainable but also appealing to strategic partners.

This development culminated in 2013 with a successful exit, when Agropodnik Želovce was acquired by a strategic investor active in the biogas plant sector. The new owner saw strong potential in the synergy between agricultural production and renewable energy, giving the project a new dimension and building on our original efforts with a clear path for future growth.
